Projects
- Community Services: Attending to the social needs of the community e.g. abuse, assisting with housing, legal issues, and medical services, etc.
- Training Courses: Includes garment making, discipleship schools, life development, entrepreneur skills, and leadership training.
- Job Creation: Assists those wanting to start micro enterprises and provides employment for staff working on the Kibbutz.
- Tourism: Visitors from many countries across the globe have visited Roodewal to participate in projects and enjoy the music and atmosphere of "I Long to Sing." (A musical about the Coloured people of South Africa.) These visits mean much in restoring dignity to the community.
- Community Recreation: Youth development programs, safe environment for children to play, an affordable restaurant for the community on Friday nights, sporting programs.
- Pre-School: Providing formative education for sixty Roodewallers, with two full-time staff members and volunteers from the community.
